An Bang Beach Massage 2026: Spa Prices and Local Guide
A 60-minute Vietnamese body massage at An Bang Beach is published at 410,000 VND by the three street-level spas on the beach road — Sandy Hill Spa, The Sandy Spa & Nail and Ocean Spa Hoi An. Foot reflexology starts at 250,000–310,000 VND. The resort spa at AIRA lists 795,000 VND for its 60-minute signature treatment.
An Bang is a working village with a beach attached, not a resort strip. Four spas take walk-in and booked treatments here, and their published rates and formats differ enough that the right one depends on where you are staying and how long a session you want.
Who wrote this and why it matters: I own and manage Sandy Hill Spa, and The Sandy Spa & Nail is our second location. Two of the four venues below are mine. I have put them first because I am the publisher of this page, not because I have judged them above the others. The rate table is sorted by published price only. Every price on this page comes from each venue’s own public menu — including my competitors’ — so you can check any figure yourself.

Sandy Hill Spa — Our Main Venue
Sandy Hill Spa, An Bang Beach
Written & published by usDisclosure: this is my spa. It is first on the page because I wrote the page. The three venues below are listed by their own published price so you can compare for yourself.

Sandy Hill sits on a garden plot a short way back from the beach road, in the village where I grew up. It is the quieter of our two sites and the one built for groups — families, couples booking together, and people who want the treatment room to be away from the street.
Known for
- Free two-way transfer across Hoi An, South Hoi An and Da Nang for 2+ guests booking 90 minutes or more, including the airport.
- Signature therapy combining hot stone work with Vietnamese acupressure.
- Over 1,500 five-star Google reviews as of July 2026.
- Free luggage storage between 09:00 and 21:00, used by guests stopping on the way to the airport.
The Sandy Spa & Nail — Our Second Venue
The Sandy Spa & Nail, 92A Nguyen Phan Vinh
Also oursDisclosure: our second location, on a separate website. Same ownership as Sandy Hill Spa.
Our newer site sits directly on the An Bang main street, so it is the one to pick if you are walking rather than being driven. The difference from Sandy Hill is the beauty side: a full nail salon runs alongside the treatment rooms, which is why guests tend to book a massage and a gel manicure in the same visit.
Known for
- Nail work priced separately from massage: basic manicure 140,000 VND, gel 320,000 VND, French tips 390,000 VND, nail art from 390,000 VND.
- Spa packages that bundle treatments — body massage with facial and hair wash, 150 minutes, 890,000 VND.
- Heated bamboo and hot stone work at 90 and 120 minute lengths.
- Same free two-way Hoi An and Da Nang transfer terms as Sandy Hill.
Ocean Spa Hoi An
Ocean Spa Hoi An
Independent venueOcean Spa sits at the entrance to the beach, which makes it the shortest walk of the four if you are coming straight off the sand. It has been running for several years and publishes a full rate card, so you can see what you will pay before you go in.
Known for
- A published menu that runs from 340,000 VND for a kid massage up to 650,000 VND for its own signature session.
- Thai dry and Thai oil work at 490,000 VND, for people who want stretching rather than oil strokes.
- Waxing and lash services alongside massage, which not every An Bang venue offers.
- English-speaking reception, useful for setting pressure preferences before you start.
AIRA Spa An Bang
AIRA Spa An Bang
Resort spaAIRA Spa is inside the AIRA Boutique hotel, down an alley off the main street, so it is enclosed rather than open to the beach. Its menu is built differently from the street-level venues: treatments are sold in 30, 45, 70 and 90 minute blocks, and there is no standard 60-minute body massage on the card.
Known for
- Short targeted sessions — back, Indian head, neck and shoulder, or leg work at 380,000 VND for 30 minutes.
- Himalayan salt stone and herbal therapy at 70 and 90 minutes, 1,050,000 and 1,245,000 VND.
- Multi-hour rituals combining scrub, herbal bath, massage and facial, from 1,355,000 VND.
- Four treatment rooms and an enclosed relaxation area, away from the beach crowd.
How This Guide Was Compiled
You are reading a page published by one of the venues on it, so here is exactly how the information was gathered and what its limits are.
- Every price is the venue’s own published figure, read off each spa’s public menu on 31 July 2026 and linked above so you can check it. Nothing is estimated and nothing is quoted from a third-party blog.
- The table is sorted by published price, low to high. There is no scoring, no rating out of ten and no awarded position. Where prices tie, the order is my own venues first, which is a disclosure choice rather than a judgement.
- I have not rated the quality of the other three spas, and I will not. I run a competing business on the same street; my opinion of a competitor’s massage is not evidence and you should not treat it as such.
- Prices move. Vietnamese spa menus change with the season. If a figure here does not match what you are quoted, the venue’s own site is correct and this page is out of date — tell me and I will fix it.
- This page covers An Bang Beach only. For the wider town, including the Ancient Town venues, see the Hoi An massage price guide covering 15 spas.
Choosing Where to Book
With three of the four venues publishing the same 60-minute rate, price is not the deciding factor at An Bang. These are:
- You are staying in Hoi An town or Da Nang: the free two-way transfer at Sandy Hill Spa or The Sandy Spa & Nail removes a return taxi from the cost, which is the largest single variable in a beach massage trip.
- You are already on the sand: Ocean Spa is at the beach entrance and The Sandy Spa & Nail is on the main street — both are a walk, not a ride.
- You want massage and nails in one visit: The Sandy Spa & Nail runs a full nail salon alongside the treatment rooms.
- You have 30 minutes, not an hour: AIRA Spa is the only venue here selling half-hour targeted sessions.
- You are staying at AIRA Boutique: book on site — you are already there, and it is built around hotel guests.
- You are travelling with children: Ocean Spa, The Sandy Spa & Nail and AIRA all publish a dedicated child treatment.

An Bang Beach Massage FAQs
How much does a massage cost at An Bang Beach in 2026?
A 60-minute Vietnamese body massage is published at 410,000 VND at the three street-level spas — Sandy Hill Spa, The Sandy Spa & Nail and Ocean Spa Hoi An. Foot reflexology starts at 250,000–310,000 VND. AIRA Spa, inside the AIRA Boutique hotel, publishes 795,000 VND for its 60-minute signature treatment and 380,000 VND for a 30-minute targeted session.
Figures read from each venue’s published menu on 31 July 2026.Is a massage cheaper at An Bang Beach than in Hoi An Ancient Town?
Published starting rates across Hoi An in 2026 run from roughly 320,000 to 930,000 VND for 60 minutes. The An Bang street-level venues sit at 410,000 VND — inside that range, not at either end. Choose An Bang because you are at the beach, not because you expect to save money.
If you are staying in the Ancient Town, the return taxi is usually the bigger cost. Two of the venues here include transport for qualifying bookings, which changes that arithmetic.
Do An Bang spas offer free hotel pick-up?
Sandy Hill Spa and The Sandy Spa & Nail both publish free two-way transfers across Hoi An, South Hoi An and Da Nang — including the airport — for bookings of 2 or more guests taking a treatment of 90 minutes or longer. Ocean Spa advertises a pick-up offer on its own site; confirm the terms with them directly. AIRA Spa serves guests already staying at the hotel.
Transfers need advance notice so a driver can be scheduled.Do I need to book in advance?
For late afternoon, yes. The 15:00–19:00 window, when people come off the beach, is the busiest part of the day at every An Bang venue. Two hours ahead is usually enough outside peak season. Free transfers always need advance notice.
Walk-ins are accepted at the street-level spas when a room is free, but on a hot afternoon in high season that is not something to rely on.
How far is An Bang Beach from Hoi An Ancient Town?
About 10 to 15 minutes by car or taxi, roughly 4 km. From Da Nang city or the airport it is around 30 minutes. It is a flat, straightforward ride, and cycling it is common in cooler months.
What is the difference between a beach spa and a resort spa here?
The street-level spas — Sandy Hill, The Sandy Spa & Nail, Ocean Spa — price by treatment, publish rates openly, take walk-ins when space allows, and are set up for people arriving from elsewhere in Hoi An.
AIRA Spa is inside a hotel. It prices in 30, 45, 70 and 90 minute blocks, has no standard 60-minute body massage, and is built around guests already on the property. Neither format is better — they are answers to different questions.
Can I get a massage at An Bang with children, or while pregnant?
Yes at several venues. Published child treatments: The Sandy Spa & Nail 340,000 VND for 60 minutes, Ocean Spa from 340,000 VND, AIRA 350,000 VND for 30 minutes. Prenatal massage is published at 490,000 VND for 60 minutes by The Sandy Spa & Nail and Ocean Spa, and at 850,000 VND for 70 minutes by AIRA.

Four venues, three of them at the same published 60-minute rate. What separates them is where you are starting from and how long you have.

- Walking from the beach: Ocean Spa at the entrance, The Sandy Spa & Nail on the main street.
- Massage plus nails in one stop: The Sandy Spa & Nail.
- Half an hour, not a full session: AIRA Spa.
